Let’s hit this thing off with a photo I shot a couple of nights back at the Crawley Boat Shed in Matilda Bay, Perth.

I allowed 60 seconds worth of exposure to completely “smooth” out the water and capture just enough light after the sun had disappeared over the horizon.

I’ve been to this boat shed a number of times, but this would be my favourite photo from the location.

I’ve decided to create an online journal to keep you all updated on my photographic journeys. I’ll try to post new photographs each time I go out for a shoot and give some hints as to how I achieved the final result. Keep checking back for updates.
